LOGOS

I enjoy designing LOGO’s because with just a  simple combination of shapes and the relevant text much can be communicated to the viewer. An effective image will be memorable, timeless, and effective.

DESIGN ADVICE

When designing street banners I say stay simple, use only a few words and let the design create the impact. Street banners are often viewed from automobiles traveling quickly on a roadway.

POSTERS

Catching the eye of the viewer to inform, influence and provoke an idea. Attracting attention with font, image and color. Bold and Bright is helpful advice for effective poster design, supporting entertainment events.

PLAQUE DEDICATION PURPOSE

Communities throughout history have installed bronze plaques to honor significant members of the community who have contributed to the betterment of the city, town or village. A bronze plaque can last for centuries as seen some effectively surviving intact from ancient civilizations.

— HISTORY OF CLIENTELE —

Following graduation from Hussian College of Art in Philadelphia I was employed at the New York design studio of Hallmark, then located on Fifth Avenue & 56th Street, designing graphics and helping create shows in the first floor exhibition space. I then worked for a variety of book and magazine publishers in New York and Philadelphia. Next I moved to Laguna Beach California and found the Laguna Beach Festival of Arts & Sawdust Festival exhibiting at both festivals. Soon I traveled to all the nearby cities and found freelance work, including working as Art Director for 2 toy manufacturers serving the Fast Food, Happy Meal industry which enabled me to travel to production facilities in Hong Kong and South China overseeing product development. Currently I work regularly for cities in Southern California as well as Western Pennsylvania and often work with a foundry in Florida for custom bronze plaque design.
